OnePlus reveals the secrets of the OnePlus 10 Pro cameras

Le OnePlus 10 Pro key specifications have been revealed, including some camera data. However, the new features that the second collaboration with Hasselblad will bring are unknown. Or rather, they have been until today. The Chinese giant has in fact decided to reveal a preview of the main details of the flagship cameras. This will come in a few days. In any case, let's go and see the details together.

The cameras of OnePlus 10 Pro have no more secrets: OnePlus has decided to "spoil" the wait by revealing all the key features

Just 4 days after the presentation of OnePlus 10 Pro, the company has revealed the secrets of the camera system developed in collaboration with Hasselblad. This system consists of a series of objectives for which no data has been confirmed. However, some modalities have now emerged to tell us what we can do.

Color calibration will be one of the important points of OnePlus 10 Pro. This is why the company presents its OnePlus Billion Color solution with natural calibration with over a billion colors. This is the first OnePlus device to feature a camera system whose cameras offer one 10-bit color depth with a 25% increase in coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut. This system is capable of processing 64 times more color than OnePlus 9 Pro. The 10-bit color system not only applies to one of the lenses, but is compatible with the OnePlus 10 Pro's three rear cameras: the main, telephoto, and ultra wide-angle camera.

This device will come with the second generation of the Hasselblad Pro mode, which is also compatible with the three rear cameras. This allows you to acquire 12-bit RAW photo with Hasselblad Natural Color Solution, but also adds a new format called RAW +. What it means: Higher quality photos with higher dynamic range, noise reduction, and other enhancements. The result is that we can edit our files to get more detailed and better quality results. Below is an example.

The third novelty lies in the wide-angle camera. The OnePlus 10 Pro's new ultra wide-angle sensor has a 150 ° field of view, four times more than traditional wide-angle cameras. This allows you to capture more space in photographs. Also, this mode supports the fisheye mode , which mimics the vision we would have with a dedicated fisheye camera, with a new perspective we can experiment with. The OnePlus 10 Pro also supports a 110º field with distortion correction using artificial intelligence.

The last mode that the company presents to us is the film mode. This allows us to make changes to the recordings such as the ISO setting, shutter speed before and during video capture and even allows us to record in LOG format without a preset profile. This is something that allows us to have a "blank canvas" to edit by offering a wider dynamic range and more information in the shadows and highlights.

OnePlus 10 pro specifications

OnePlus 10 Pro will feature a panel Second generation AMOLED Fluid LTPO. The screen offers a refresh rate of 120Hz and will count on a display by 6.78 " with curved edges and a hole for the front camera.

OnePlus 10 Pro will have a front camera from 32 megapixel. The second generation Hasselblad camera module on the back of the device is equipped with image sensors from 48, 50 and 8 megapixels. The device also claims support for dual optical image stabilization. The dimensions of the smartphone are 163 x 73.9 x 8.55 mm. The device equips a processor Snapdragon 8 Gen1, which is aided by RAM LPDDR5 and UFS 3.1 flash memory. Joy of joys, we will find one battery from 5000 mAh which supports wired charging 80W SuperVOOC and wireless charging 50W AirVOOC.
