OnePlus is getting ever closer to the launch of its next flagship, the OnePlus 12, with the presentation in China already scheduled for December. The device is awaited with great curiosity by technology enthusiasts, who can now take a look at the first live photos of the phone and its BOE X1 screen. The leaker Digital Chat Station shared a long post on Weibo revealing details of the OnePlus 12's display and showing some real images of the device.

The OnePlus 12 will be equipped with a 6,82 inch LTPO OLED panel with resolution of 1.440 x 3.168 pixels e variable refresh rate from 1 to 120 Hz. The panel, produced by BOE, achieved a peak brightness of 4.500 nits in automatic mode and 1.722 nits with the manual slider in normal use. These are record values for the industry, which guarantee optimal visibility even in direct sunlight.
Furthermore, the new leak reveals that the OnePlus 12 screen has a average Just Noticeable Color Difference (JNCD) value of 0,35 and an A+ certification from DisplayMate for its exceptional color fidelity and accuracy.
The new screen is accompanied by the Oppo P1 chip and offers PWM dimming technology at 2.160 Hz for greater eye protection. We also know that the new BOE panel will offer better color rendering with sunlight highlighting algorithms and single-pixel calibration technology.
The OnePlus 12 features an elegant and refined design, with a metal frame and a glass rear body. The rear camera module is circular and houses three sensors, including the 50MP Sony LYT-808 main sensor, a 64MP Omnivision O64B periscope camera and a 48MP Sony IMX581 ultra-wide-angle lens.
On the right side of the phone we find the power button and volume rocker, while on the left side there is the slider for silent mode. The OnePlus 12 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and, in the Chinese variant, it will offer a maximum configuration of 24 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1 TB of UFS 4.0 internal storage. The device will be available in three colors: black, white and green. For the global market, however, the OnePlus 12 is expected to arrive with 16 GB of RAM, 1 TB of storage and black and green colors.
The OnePlus 12 will be officially presented on December 5th in China, while the global launch date has not yet been announced, but thanks to a leak it is assumed that it is January 24, 2024. .
