OnePlus today unveiled its new flagship smartphone, the OnePlus Ace 3, which presents itself as a real flagship killer, thanks to high-level technical specifications and a starting price of only 2.599 yuan (around 330 euros).
OnePlus Ace 3 official: top of the range at an affordable price
The OnePlus Ace 3 presents itself with an elegant and refined design, which reflects the style of the OnePlus family. The back features a circular photographic module, with a metallic finish and stainless steel protection for the lenses. The frame is made of metal, with a 3D curved surface and precision cutting. The device is available in three colors: Mingsha Gold, Star Black and Moonsea Blue, which correspond to three different glass manufacturing processes.
The display is one of the strong points of the OnePlus Ace 3: it is a 6,78 inch flexible OLED panel, with a resolution of 2780×1264 pixels, a density of 450 PPI and a variable refresh rate from 1 to 120 Hz, thanks to LTPO technology. The panel supports 1,07 billion colors, wet-hand control and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. Furthermore, it offers a “Bright Eyes Eye Protection” solution, which has obtained the DisplayMate A+ certified and Rheinland Intelligent Eye Protection 3.0 certification.
Under the hood, the smartphone hides a Snapdragon 8 Gen2 processor, flanked by one LPDDR5X RAM memory and UFS 4.0 internal memory. The device also features a Tiangong cooling system, with a 9140 mm² steam chamber, which guarantees optimal performance even under stress. The AnTuTu score of the OnePlus Ace 3 exceeds 1,74 million, demonstrating his abilities.
For video game lovers, the OnePlus Ace 3 offers a fluid and immersive gaming experience, thanks to a dedicated graphics chip, which supports super-resolution 1,5K at 120 Hz for all games, and exclusive holographic audio technology, which creates a surround effect. Additionally, the OnePlus Ace 3 will be the first smartphone to feature GSS, a game state communication technology, which improves frame rate stability in high load scenarios.
As regards the photographic sector, the device has one front camera from 16 MPa Samsung S5K3P9 sensor, and a triple rear camera, with a 890MP Sony IMX50 main sensor, equipped with optical image stabilization, a 355 MP Sony IMX8 ultra-wide-angle sensor it's a 02 MP OV2B macro sensor.
La battery of the OnePlus Ace 3 is 5500 mAh and supports a quick charge from 100W, which allows you to fully charge your smartphone in just 27 minutes. The device is equipped with a SUPERVOOC S energy management chip, which has the highest discharge efficiency in the industry of 99,5%.
Otherwise, the Ace 3 is equipped with an X linear motor, which offers precise tactile feedback, supports Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, infrared remote control, super linear stereo speakers, the fingerprint reader under the ultra-thin screen, the three-stage button and the Android 14 operating system, based on ColorOS 14.
The OnePlus Ace 3 was officially presented in China, where it will be available starting from 2.599 yuan (around 330 euros) for the 12/256 GB version.
