There is so much hype in the air for Oneplus watch, the first smart watch from Pete Lau's company that will debut tomorrow alongside the OnePlus 9 series. And there's nothing wrong with getting excited. after all, it is the first smartwatch for the Chinese giant. But we have learned to know "our chickens" as they say. Very often some Chinese companies are just pieces that form a large macro group. For example the BBK Electronics group merges Oppo, OnePlus, live e realme. The first two companies are of particular interest to us, as it seems that this time too, they have caught products from the same hat.

Why did we mention the BBK Electronics group? This is not the first time we mention it. Over the past two years, especially Oppo, OnePlus and maybe a little realme too, they are presenting practically identical devices. Of course, there is no mention of similarities in software terms, since Android customization (thankfully) is the only thing that differentiates one brand from another today. Rather, let's talk about design. We have seen several smartphones look alike: Oppo Reno 5 Pro is none other than Oppo Find X3 Lite, which in turn is not that OnePlus 9. All this, only in aesthetic terms (the differences are there, but they are really imperceptible) since the hardware equipment is clearly going to change.
But if we have talked about smartphones so far, we can say that the smartwatches are "out of danger"? Absolutely not, as we noticed a huge one similarity between OnePlus Watch and Oppo Watch RX. Probably many of you will not know the latter as it only debuted in China. It is a common Oppo Watch but with a round dial, among other things released in a special edition League of Legends. Let's compare them.

La similarity is undeniable. Both have a round dial; both have two physical keys of the same size and in the same position; both have the slot to attach the strap of the same type. In short, we can say that OnePlus has recycled a model of Oppo released in October last year.
This trend is increasingly common within the group BBK Electronics. This is not the place to find out the reasons, also because it would not be possible to do so. However it seems obvious how the two companies (within the group of four) proceed with the recycling of devices already presented in China.
