And today, the well-known Chinese informant Digital Chat Station announced that the company will start mass production of the technology five-axis optical image stabilization. Recall that the new technology of 5-axis optical image stabilization of Oppo allows the processor to acquire motion data using a gyroscope, analyze and classify them using new algorithms. After analysis, the data is transferred to two moving modules: a lens and an image sensor, driven by ball bearing motors.
Technology provides a maximum stabilization angle of ± 3 °, three times that of the traditional OIS model in smartphones. Whether you are shooting at night or on the move, it can greatly improve the stability, clarity and color of the image and increase the vibration compensation up to 65%.
Oppo claims that the efficiency of its technology is three times higher than other solutions on the market, and it already is close to the performance of SLR cameras. In theory, it should improve image stability, color reproduction and sharpness as well increase the image compensation efficiency by 65% and the light acquisition rate in low ambient light conditions of 70%.
