After marriage between Oppo and OnePlus, perhaps one was taken for granted collaboration with Hasselblad. The Swedish company, a long-time heritage of DJI, has in fact shook hands with Green Factory after two years of partnership with OnePlus. The latter in fact launched OnePlus 9 e OnePlus 10 just boasting of a photographic sector studied together with the giant of photography. Now it's up to Oppo. Oppo follows in the footsteps of OnePlus and announces collaboration for three years with Hasselblad, leader in the photographic sector for the Find X5 series
In a post on the blog dedicated, Oppo has officially announced a three-year partnership with the Swedish camera manufacturer Hasselblad for "collaboratively develop industry-leading camera technologies for Oppo's flagship Find series". Announcement that sounds familiar since OnePlus announced the same partnership ahead of the launch of the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro last year. Then continuing with OnePlus 10 and 10 Pro this year. Nothing too secretive though, as leaked images of an early Find X5 production unit had a distinct "Hasselblad" logo embossed on the rear panel.
In any case it seems that theOppo Find X5 Pro will be the first device of the series to have the Hasselblad branding and, therefore, the camera tweaks and tweaks we first saw on the OnePlus 9 last year. Exactly, there shouldn't be too much news if we already know what the OnePlus 9 Pro is capable of. However, the Chinese company has confirmed that, just like OnePlus last year, we will see "Natural color calibration with Hasselblad"and "the most natural skin tone possible for her portrait photography".
New Hasselblad-inspired features such as the X-pan mode they were added during the year. Given the merging of ColorOS and OxygenOS in the near future, it wouldn't be too far-fetched to expect to see some of these features on the Oppo Find X5 series. Although, remember, the Global firmware will see OxygenOS 13 e not the unified OS.
