The Chinese smartphone manufacturer OPPO is apparently working on the next OPPO A16, according to what was revealed by the well-known leakster Evan Blass who had already leaked renderings of the device. Today, the same leakster is back with new renders, some of which confirm some of its main specifications.
OPPO A16: new renderings and main specifications unveiled
So let's start with the renderings that show us the three black, blue and beige colors of the OPPO A16. We note that the device sports a teardrop notch display on the front and its rear panel has a triple camera system. Then we have the left edge with the volume buttons and on the right edge there is a power button that also acts as a fingerprint scanner.
As for the specifications, the OPPO A16 would be powered by the Helio G35 chipset and a 5.000mAh battery. The device's Geekbench benchmark unearthed last month also revealed that the smartphone integrates the Helio G35 chip. Geekbench had also revealed that there is 4 GB of RAM and that it runs with the ColorOS operating system based on Android 11.
The OPPO A16 was also caught on the FCC certification site last month. The listing revealed that its 5.000mAh battery will only support 10W charging. It also revealed that the device is equipped with connectivity features such as dual band Wi-Fi, 4G LTE, and Bluetooth.
