OPPO has just officially announced the launch of the OPPO A53 for the Chinese market, a smartphone that differs significantly from the namesake presented in Europe a few months ago.

The OPPO A53 is in fact equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 720 chip with 5G dual-mode, based on 7nm production technology, therefore with low consumption, octa-core and with the MediaTek 5G UltraSave energy saving technology, to ensure a long life of the battery.
The A53 adopts the new smart antenna cut design to ensure that the smartphone signal is excellent in any mode. At the same time, the A53 also supports Wi-Fi and 5G dual network channels, giving you a more complete, smooth and stable network experience.
OPPO A53 inherits the premium design of the A series, with a lightweight body weighing only 175 grams and very thin at just 7,9mm thick. The smartphone then adopts a high-density 4040 mAh battery, which is sufficient for a full day of normal use.
In terms of screen, the OPPO A53 is equipped with a 6,5-inch 1080P resolution screen and supports a high refresh rate of 90Hz and a tactile sampling rate of up to 120Hz.
While for photography, the smartphone implements three cameras on the back, with the main 16MP, secondary 2MP macro and third for 2MP portraits. In front we find instead a single 8MP camera.
The 53GB + 4GB OPPO A128 will be available in China at a price of 1299 yuan (160 €) from December 21st, while the 6GB + 128GB version will be available from December 25th and we still don't know the price.
