Korean tech giant LG has just launched the new LG Gram 2021 series in South Korea. The brand's ultra-light series of laptops has finally seen a change in size, bringing the new LG Gram 16 in place. of Gram 15, clearly increasing the display size.
LG Gram 2021: New series officially presented, now also with 16 ″ display
As just mentioned, the new laptops are really light with the Gram 14 (14Z90P) weighing only 999 grams, the Gram 16 (16Z90P) weighing 1,15 kg and finally the Gram 17 (17Z90P) weighing 1,35 kg.
In terms of hardware, all three notebooks are equipped with 11th generation Intel Core Tiger Lake processors, including Gram 14 only has one option with Core i5-1135G7 + 8 + 256GB, while Gram 16/17 can be purchased also with Core i7-1165G7 + 16GB + 1TB SSD.
As for the display, the three models have all seen an aspect ratio change, now 16:10, and the 16- and 17-inch display resolutions increased to 2560 × 1600. Compared to the Gram 15, the touchpad area of the 16-inch laptop increased by 55%.
Finally, for the ports, laptops adopt two USB 3.1, one HDMI and two Thunderbolt 4 with full functionality.
The LG Gram 2021 will be launched in South Korea in January in black and white colors. The starting price of Gram 16 will be 17.000 yuan, over 2000 euros.
