Oppo, as well as realme, is not one of the companies that first of all update their proprietary devices. Between system updates, security and major releases, however, those of the first brand are slightly faster than the latter. unfortunately, realme is still at the top even with the release of Android 11. But having said that, two smartphones are updating to ColorOS 11 in Italy: Oppo A73 5G and A53s. Let's go see the details since it comes with the ColorOS 11 too Virtual RAM.

For oppo A53s, the update has a weight of 3.35 GB and brings the build number CPH2135_11_C.14. For the model A73 5G instead, the build number is CPH2069_11_C.81. In both cases, you switch from ColorOS 7.2 to ColorOS 11.1, of course based on Android 11. The update also includes the security patches of the month of August 2021.
But the most interesting thing about this update that brings ColorOS 11, or rather ColorOS 11.1, is another. In the package delivered to smartphones also comes the functionality dedicated toRAM expansion.
And how can RAM expand? To do this, the Oppo smartphone it will use some of the internal storage. In short, some memory will be taken from the internal storage and virtually “added” to the RAM. In this way, to add to the canonical 4/6/8 GB of RAM, you can get to a maximum of 19 GB. There is a limit, however: they can add only 7 GB of RAM through memory expansion. Ultimately those that have 4 GB of base will reach 11 GB; those with 6 GB will go up to 13 GB; those with 8 GB will go up to 15 GB and those with 12 GB (few for now) will go up to 19 GB.
