OPPO, one of the leading smartphone manufacturers in the world, has officially presented its new one OPPO A79, a mid-range device with high performance and a 50MP camera. The new smartphone is already available in India at a price of INR19,999 (approximately 240 euros).

The OPPO A79 stands out for its elegant and modern design, available in two colors: Mystery Black and Glowing Green. The latter features a particular finish that OPPO calls Glowing Feather Design, which reflects the light creating an iridescent effect. The phone also has an IP54 certification which makes it resistant to dust and splashes of water.
The display of the OPPO A79 is a 6,72-inch LCD with FullHD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. The panel is protected by Panda Glass and offers a maximum brightness of 680 nits. OPPO calls it a Sunlight Display because it allows you to see every detail even in direct sunlight.
The heart of the OPPO A79 is the Dimension 6020 processor, an octa-core chip produced by MediaTek with 6 nanometer technology and support for 5G connectivity. The processor is supported by 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 internal memory, expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card.
The OPPO A79 comes with a total of three cameras, the sensor main rear is a 1MP Samsung ISOCELL JN50 with f/1.8 aperture and the secondary is a 02MP Omnivision OV1B2B for the depth of field, while in front we find an 8MP front camera for selfies. The main camera offers several shooting modes, including night mode, portrait mode, landscape mode and macro mode.
The battery of the OPPO A79 has one capacity of 5,000 mAh and supports the quick charge to 33W via the included USB-C cable. OPPO claims that the phone can be charged from 0 to 50% in just 30 minutes. The phone also has a fingerprint scanner integrated into the side power button, a headphone jack from 3,5 mm and two stereo speakers with an Ultra Volume mode that increases the sound level up to 300% for speakers and 200% for calls.
The A79 runs with the Android 13 operating system customized with user interface ColorOS 13.1, which offers several unique features, including Game Space to optimize performance during games, Smart Sidebar to quickly access your favorite apps, Clone Phone to transfer data from another device and Private Safe to protect sensitive files .
