OPPO Find N3, the brand's second foldable smartphone with Hasselblad camera, has been officially unveiled in China. It is a device that aims to offer an unprecedented imaging experience, thanks to a three rear camera system and an image processing engine based on artificial intelligence. Official OPPO Find N3 with Hasselblad cameras and ultra-resistant body
The Find N3 stands out for its 7,82 inch foldable screen, which turns into one from 6,32 inches when closed. Both screens are OLED with 120Hz refresh rate, maximum brightness of 2800 nits and HDR10+ certification. In addition, they support eye-protecting mode with intelligent color temperature and high-frequency PWM. The Find N3 is the only foldable smartphone to have both screens with Super Retina resolution and multi-level color calibration.
As for the folding system, the Find N3 hinge has reduced the number of parts by almost a third, using aircraft grade high strength steel and zirconium alloy liquid metal integrated. This, in addition to reducing weight, allows the hinge to be flatter and more stable. In tests carried out at the TÜV Rheinland laboratory in Germany, the Find N3 was the first foldable smartphone to exceed one million folds.
To make an ultra-reliable folding screen, OPPO has developed an ultra-high strength alloy steel with a tensile strength of 2000 Mpa and a yield strength of over 1800 Mpa. While through high temperature sintering at 1300°C and cryogenic reinforcement treatment at -196°C, super strength has been achieved, which is more than 4 times that of common 316L steel. Compared to the previous generation material, it brings 92% drop resistance and 30% improvement in impact resistance.
The camera is the strong point of this smartphone, which takes advantage of the collaboration with Hasselblad, the famous Swedish professional photography brand. The Find N3 is equipped with a triple rear camera, consisting of:
- Un 64 megapixel periscope telephoto lens with 1/2 inch sensor, 0,7 um pixel size and optical image stabilization. This lens allows you to take photos with 3X and 6X optical zoom, ensuring good quality even in low light conditions.
- Un 48 megapixel wide-angle lens with 1/1,43 inch sensor, 1,12 um pixel size and optical image stabilization. This lens offers greater compositional freedom and better detail rendering.
- Un 48 megapixel ultra-wide angle lens with 1/2 inch sensor, 0,8um pixel size and 114° viewing angle. This lens allows you to capture large, dynamic scenarios.
The Find N3 also integrates a super light and shadow image engine, which creates a feeling of space, three-dimensionality and immersion for two-dimensional photos. It also supports the Natural Color Engine, a color solution developed together with Hasselblad for computational photography. This solution guarantees faithful reproduction of natural colors, without alterations or distortions.
The Find N3 is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, Qualcomm's most powerful, offering high performance and low power consumption. The RAM memory is 12 GB, while the internal storage space is 512 GB. The battery has a capacity of 4805 mAh and supports 67W fast charging, which allows you to recharge the device from 0 to 100% in approximately 40 minutes.
Regarding the resistance and durability of the Find N3, OPPO has adopted a series of advanced solutions. The folding mechanism of the internal screen is made of ultra-high-strength alloy steel, which has passed the one million fold test in the TÜV Rheinland laboratory in Germany. The external screen is protected by ceramic glass that is ultra-resistant to shocks and falls. The internal screen is covered by ultra-thin UTG glass which improves its flexibility.
The Find N3 will be sold at price of 9999 yuan (around 1300 euros) for the version with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal memory. Sales will begin on October 25 in China.
