This morning OPPO officially announced that the next Find X6 series will be launched in China on March 21 at 14 pm together with the new pad 2. The presentation comes with the tagline “Opening a new era of imaging on the go”.

At the same time, the brand's official Weibo page (China's Twitter) started teasing the device. At the moment, the brand has only revealed the specifications of the telephoto lens, describing it as capable of photographing the moon and people under the moon. So judging from the official page, this time Find X6 will be equipped with a periscope telephoto lens which is relatively rare even on flagship phones.
The OPPO Find X6 series is also equipped with a 1-inch Sony IMX989 sensor main camera. This sensor uses a Quad-Bayer color array and each sub-pixel has the ability to focus. The sensor adopts a 4:3 aspect ratio more suited to the needs of moving images, and a single frame capture can have enough dynamic range for high-quality images.
In addition, the OPPO Find X6 series comes with Mariana MariSilicon X, a chip developed by OPPO. Its unique computing unit and memory architecture enables real-time AI noise reduction and HDR to be integrated for the original image information, creating night scene shooting effects with clear details, natural colors and textures excellent.
Soon after the official announcement, well-known Chinese blogger Digital Chat Station released the first high-definition images of the three color combinations of the OPPO Find X6 series.
It can be seen from the images that the device shown in the official teaser is the most premium version of the series which comes with a silver colored body on the top and faux leather on the bottom. The other two models in the photo are black and green. Overall they all adopt a matte design, which looks very elegant under the support of the huge circular lens module.
Finally, in the lens part we also notice the Hasselblad logo in the center and the Mariana X logo on the nameplate in the lower right corner.
