OPPO previews the Find X7 with “Hasselblad Master Imaging” cameras

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer OPPO has unveiled a preview of its new latest generation imaging system, the result of collaboration with Hasselblad, the prestigious Swedish leading company in the professional photography sector. The system, called “ultra-light and shadow imaging system“, will be mounted for the first time on OPPO's next flagship, the Find X7, which will offer unprecedented photographic quality thanks to the new “Hasselblad Master imaging".

The system consists of three main elements:

  • Super light and shadow full main camera system, which increases zoom capability and creates multiple camera angles for greater creative freedom;
  • Super light and shadow image engine, which uses advanced algorithms to reduce computational traces and improve image clarity and detail;
  • Ultra-light and shadow ProXDR display, which offers photo viewing technology that conforms to screen viewing methods.

The system is capable of offering professional portrait effects, which OPPO claims to be “three years ahead of the industry“, thanks to the collaboration with Hasselblad, which has long experience in the field of fashion and celebrity photography.

Furthermore, OPPO has adopted and promoted Google's Ultra HDR standard, to ensure better photo performance with a high dynamic range, both on screen and in print.

The ultra-light and shadow imaging system will not be exclusive to the Find X7, but will also be installed on other OPPO smartphone models, such as the OnePlus 12 and the OPPO Reno11, which will be launched in 2024.

The Find X7 will also be one of the first smartphones to be equipped with the Dimension 9300 processor, produced by MediaTek, which offers high performance and low power consumption. The Pro version of the Find X7, however, will be equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen3 processor, the most powerful of Qualcomm's Snapdragon series.

OPPO announced its ultra-light and shadow imaging system at the Paris International Photography Art Exhibition (Paris Photo), one of the most important events dedicated to fine art photography, taking place from 9 to 12 November 2023 in the French capital .

OPPO said it wants to "take mobile photography to a new level" and "offer users an uncompromising photography experience." The Find X7 will be officially presented in early 2024 and will be available in various global markets.
