Oppo thinks of a mushroom-shaped speaker / table lamp

There are many patents that Oppo ask the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) every month. We have seen patents that have come to life, such as that of extendable smartphone with extendable screen, yet there are others who will never see the light. In any case, what we are going to see today is a patent which, although particular, we believe will bring a concrete product in the market. It is a mushroom, or rather one speaker / mushroom-shaped table lamp. Let's go see the details.

This is Oppo's next smart home product: a speaker with a built-in table lamp. Nice idea right?

Like any self-respecting phone brand too Oppo engages in the production of products that are not just smartphones. The era IoT, or the Internet of Things, is fruitful. THE smart home products are on the agenda and this Chinese brand also wants to do its part to enter the homes of consumers. The mushroom we are going to see is an attempt in this sense.

The patent application was made on June 12 this year but the CNIPA he only accepted it today. It is a speaker for music (but not only) with a 'unusual T shape. This allows it to be super functional in that under the hat also integrates lights. According to the documentation revealed, the device would only work with one type-C socket, as we see in the photo above.

Above the hat instead we see those who are the commands. They will be of touch type and above all very essential: starting from the left we find a "volume down", A"volume up", A key"Play / Pause”A led light and a power button. The led light will indicate when this smart lamp / speaker will be working. Below is the documentation that states that it is a real product, coming from the CNIPA.

There is no mention of voice commands but no doubt they will be integrated. Since this is a patent, it does not mean that it will be launched in the immediate future.
