As we learned a couple of days ago, Honor, the Chinese brand of smartphones and electronic devices, is working on the launch of a new high-end tablet: theHonor MagicPad.
Honor MagicPad: the first photos of the tablet that wants to challenge the iPad Pro are leaked
The Honor MagicPad tablet has not yet been officially presented, but some photos of it have been leaked on the internet, showing its design and some of its features. The device is aimed at professionals and multimedia enthusiasts who are looking for a versatile and powerful tablet for work, study and entertainment. The tablet has one screen from 13 inches and with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, making it similar to a laptop in size and aspect ratio. The display also has very thin borders, which increase the sense of immersion and reduce the space occupied by the device.
The back of the tablet features a simple and elegant design, with the Honor logo and the dual ring camera module, which recalls the style of the brand's recent smartphones. The tablet also has a front facing camera for video calling and facial recognition. One of the most interesting features of the tablet is the IMAX Enhanced certification, which guarantees an optimized audiovisual quality for IMAX content. The tablet is capable of reproducing sharp images and vivid colors, as well as three-dimensional surround sound.
As for the technical specifications, Honor has not yet revealed all the details of its new tablet, but has anticipated that it will be a flagship product, equipped with a powerful processor and a large battery. According to rumors, the tablet may use a battery from 10.000 mAh, with support to the quick charge from 40 W.
The Honor MagicPad tablet should be available in China starting July 12, with a price of less than 10.000 yuan (about 1.300 euros). No word yet on whether the tablet will arrive in Europe and other markets as well, but hopefully Honor can expand its device offering beyond mid-range smartphones and tablets like theHonor pad x9 just presented.
