As we know, yesterday Google held a launch event for the Pixel 7 series. Well, besides announcing the Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro e Pixel Watch, the company also shared key information on the design and features of the future Pixel Tablet.
Pixel Tablet officially announced: 2-in1 home tablet and HUB
Let's start with the design of the tablet which according to Google will be comfortable to hold and will have a beautiful display. Its frame will be made from recycled aluminum, which will have a premium nano ceramic finish.
Furthermore, several images of the Pixel Tablet released by the brand suggest that there may be a sensor positioned next to the front camera. However, the company has not said anything about it. On the back of the tablet is a single camera without a flash.
As for the other features, Google will launch a charging base for the Pixel Tablet. The charging base will be called the Charging Speaker Dock, which means it will charge the tablet wirelessly while being used as a smart home speaker. The tablet will also function as a smart home display, where users can view all connected devices. Hence, it appears that the Pixel Tablet is designed for home use, this means it may not have features like GPS and SIM connectivity.
Finally, the tablet will be equipped with the Tensor chipset and will run on Android 13, its launch is scheduled for 2023.
