Xiaomi launches the POCO C51 in India: MediaTek Helio G36 for less than 100 euros

This afternoon the sub brand of Xiaomi, POCO, has launched a new entry-level smartphone under the name of POCO C51. The device at the time was only made official in India but it is possible that it will also be launched in our country; let's find out more.

Let's start with it screen on board POCO C51 that it has a diagonal of 6,52 inches. The panel is of the IPS LCD type with an HD+ resolution, a refresh rate of 60Hz, and a touch sample rate of 120Hz.

As for performance, the smartphone is powered by a processor MediaTek Helio G36 of type octa core combined with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of expandable internal memory. The device supports theRAM memory expansion up to 7GB, including 3GB virtual and 4GB LPPDR4X RAM.

As for the photographic sector instead, the POCO C51 is equipped with a dual 8-megapixel rear cameras and a 5-megapixel selfie lens.

In terms of battery, the smartphone is equipped with a 5000mAh battery that supports 10W charging via the microUSB charging port.

For the rest, the POCO C51 keeps the headphone jack from 3,5 mm and features a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. We also find support for Bluetooth 5.0, dual 4G VoLTE, GPS and GLONASS. On the software front, the POCO C51 comes with the Android 13 Go edition operating system.

Finally, in terms of prices, the POCO C51 is launched in a single memory version, with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage at a price of 8499 rupees, about 95 euros at the current exchange rate and will be available in the colors "Power Black" (black) and "Royal Blue" (blue). The smartphone will officially go on sale in India starting April 10.
