Il POCO F5, with its Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2, has already demonstrated what Qualcomm is capable of in providing high-level performance. Now, the POCO F6 is preparing to make the big leap with the new SM8635, which promises to be one of the most powerful SOCs ever created by the company. Although Qualcomm has not yet officially announced this chip, it is expected that vIt will be revealed on March 18th, with the POCO F6 which should follow closely in April.

Curiosity also ignites around the Redmi Notes 13 Turbo, which is said to be the first to be introduced to the market, presumably in March. This model, intended for the Chinese market, should then be proposed globally as POCO F6, a rebranding strategy that is not new for the company.

The model numbers “24069PC21G” and “24069PC21I”, which appeared in the IMEI database, confirm the existence of the POCO F6 in its global and Indian variants. Interestingly, the POCO F6 will not be available in Japan, but the Redmi Note 13 Turbo is expected to fill this gap.

The code name “Peridot”, associated with the POCO F6, is a further clue that connects the device to the Redmi Note series, traditionally called with gem names. Peridot, a variety of olivine also known as Zebercet, is a gemstone that stands out for its yellow-green color and unique properties, just like the POCO F6 stands out in the smartphone landscape.

Now all that remains is to see if the POCO F6 will live up to expectations and if it manages to surpass the success of its predecessor, but one thing is certain: the month of April will be a very interesting time for the world of smartphones.
