POCO M4 Pro 4G caught on Geekbench: coming with MediaTek Helio G96

After presenting the POCO M4 Pro 5G in November 2021, the Xiaomi sub-brand now seems close to the presentation of its younger brother, the POCO M4 Pro 4G.

POCO M4 Pro 4G caught on Geekbench: coming with MediaTek Helio G96

Il POCO M4 Pro 4G has in fact just been caught on the site of the well-known benchmarking platform Geekbench with the model number “2201117PG”. The smartphone achieved a score of 517 points in single core mode and a score of 1852 points in multi core mode, running on Geekbench version 5.

Furthermore, even if as usual the site does not show us the chipset on board the device, it is possible to read that it is an octa core processor with a 2 + 6 core configuration. The two high-performance cores are clocked at 2,05 GHz while the other 6 cores have a clock speed of 2,00 Ghz. We can also see that the codename of the chipset is ARM MT6781, so it is very likely that we are facing the MediaTek Helio G96 processor. This chip is built with a 12nm manufacturing process (therefore a bit old) and integrates a Mali G57 as a GPU.

Finally, on Geekbench we see that the POCO M4 Pro 4G will come with 6GB of RAM and will run with Android 11 as the operating system.

poco m4 pro 4g is redmi note 11s

We recall that a couple of weeks ago a leak suggested that the M4 Pro 4G could be a rebrand of the Redmi Note 11S. The specs should therefore include a 6,43-inch display, Full HD + resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate and 1000nit maximum brightness.

For photos, the Redmi Note 11S has a 108MP main sensor, the Samsung ISOCELL Bright HM2 with a size of 1 / 1.52 inches. The main camera is paired with an 8MP ultra wide angle lens with a 118 degree viewing angle, a 2MP lens for taking macro photos and a 2MP sensor used for taking blur effect photos. For selfies, there is a high-quality 16MP camera.
