In the morning the (poco) new RedMi Note 4 that with really poco enthusiasm I come to show you.
The Red i Note 4 has an all-metal body like its predecessor from which it inherits much of the aesthetics to the exclusion of 2.5D (uselessly) protruding glass. Under the bonnet we find the Helio X20 by Mediatek, certainly a powerful processor but not a SnapDragon as it was also for the first RedMi Note 3 series.
A nice 4100mAh battery, 5.5 "display… fingerprint sensor… 13MP PDAF camera, f / 2.0… In short, not much more than what we have already seen at Xiaomi and also something less than what we have seen on other brands.
It will be marketed in 3 Breakfasts (Silver, Gold and Dark Gray) and two variations that differ only in the internal memory: 16gb at 120 € and 64gb at 160 €. Obviously prices in China.
It's nice, but was there really a need for another RedMi Note a few months after the presentation of its predecessor?
And how much poco will pass to see the PRO version with SnapDragon?
Xiaomi's situation is no longer "roses and flowers" just because of nonsense choices like this. Perhaps a good flop will make Xiaomi think about the need to invest more in flagship rather than low / mid range.
If they had put the fingerprint reader before I would have liked it better. Behind it just doesn't go down.
