Xiaomi has long since passed the apprenticeship phase in the PC & Hardware sector, so much so that it is now a recognized brand on a global scale. Over the years, however, it has proposed not only notebooks of the highest level but also accessories dedicated to them or to desk brothers. In fact, in 2016 he launched the Yuemi Pro and Yuemi Pro Silent keyboards on the market, although success never came. But today the Chinese company is ready to impress and with a new economic mechanical keyboard, or the Xiaomi Gaming Keyboard proposed at the price of 229 yuan (about 29 euros).
Xiaomi Gaming Keyboards delivers 104 keys, including a numeric keypad but above all has RGB backlighting in 5 different areas. The body of the keyboard is made of ABS material while on the top there is one 502 aluminum-magnesium alloy plate with sandblasting process, anodizing and laser engraving. The keys are instead made with PBT and PC process that guarantee durability and ensure the absence of fading of the letters printed on the key, over time. The mechanism of the red and black type of keys instead is made in collaboration with the company TTC, with a run of 3mm.

At the hardware level we finally find the ARM Sonix MCU chipset to 32 bit responsible for software key control. The light effect can be accelerated or slowed down or the intensity adjusted with 10% steps. There is also no possibility of key customization, like being able to disable the Windows key, avoiding to exit the game by mistake if pressed. Dimensions of 440 x 131 x 40 mm and a weight of 785 grams it is the information that completes the technical sheet of the Xiaomi gaming keyboard that proposes one key distribution on ANSI standard.
