Realme has indeed officially announced that the Realme 11 series will be released on May 10th and the slogan "Let's take pictures!" is given, focusing on performance and image. According to news and information on the official website of China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, there will be three Realme 11 series phones: Realme 11, Realme 11 Pro and Realme 11 Pro+.

Among them, the Realme 11 Pro will be equipped with one main camera from 100 megapixel; while the Realme 11 Pro + will use one main camera from 200 megapixel, perhaps to achieve lossless zoom through pixel cropping.

While judging from the official poster, with the shot of the setting sun, it seems the smartphone will adopt a camera with a variable aperture and it should be an opening system with an iris diaphragm.

It is therefore likely that the next Realme 11 Pro+ will use a group of variable aperture lenses.

In terms of appearance, the Realme 11 Pro and Realme 11 Pro+ can be considered the spiritual continuation of the previous “Master Exploration Edition”: Collaborating with the former GUCCI designer, a “Sunrise City” color scheme was created, the case back is made of plain leather material with woven texture and should feel nice.

The camera module of the Realme 11 series is shaped like a large disc, one of the most popular designs at the moment. The main camera is located in the center of the disk, and two auxiliary lenses are arranged side by side on both sides of the main camera. Then there is a flash above the main camera.

In terms of screen, the Realme 11 Pro and Pro+ will be equipped with a curved OLED screen that supports a high refresh rate of 120Hz, supports 2160Hz high-frequency dimming and 20.000-level auto dimming.

In terms of performance, the Realme 11 Pro and Pro+ should be equipped with the new Dimension 7000 series chips.

Just today, Taiwanese chip maker MediaTek launched the new one Dimensity 7050. The Dimension 7000 series chip is built on TSMC's 6nm manufacturing process. The CPU part consists of two large Cortex A78 cores running at a frequency of 2,6Ghz and six small Cortex A55 cores running at a frequency of 2,0Ghz. As GPU we have a Mali-G68 MC4, there is support for LPDDR5/4x RAM and UFS 3.1/2.1 internal memory.

Considering the love of "dual-core" chips in the previous Realme 10 series, if nothing else, the Realme 11 Pro and Pro+ will probably be the first devices with Dimension 7050 chips in China.

In terms of battery and charging, the new 11 Pro and 11 Pro+ will have one battery from 5000 mAh. Realme 11 Pro will support 67W fast charging e the Pro+ version will support fast charging of up to 100W.

In terms of price, the starting price of the previous generation Realme 10 Pro and Pro+ is 1599-2299 yuan (210-300 euros). The price range of the Realme 11 Pro and Pro+ is expected not to change much, while the standard version of the lower-positioned Realme 11 will be priced at poco more than a thousand yuan (130 euros). The price performance ratio will be the strong point of the series.

As for the rival Xiaomi, the Chinese smartphone maker has currently fought back by launching the new one Redmi Note 12R Pro. The device is equipped with the first generation Snapdragon 4 chip, Samsung 120Hz high-brush OLED screen and dual 48-megapixel cameras.

If you think you've already seen a Xiaomi smartphone with these specifications, well, you're right. The Redmi Note 12 launched six months earlier is in fact the exact same device. It is therefore a rebrand to "remind Chinese users" of the existence of this entry-level series to be contrasted with the upcoming Realme 11 series.
