On October 13th, Realme presented the new Realme 7, 7 Pro and 7i, three mid-range smartphones with an excellent specification / price ratio. That said, none of the three were adopting next-generation connectivity, but that could change soon.
Realme 7 5G certified in Thailand, imminent global arrival?
A new device with model name RMX2111 was in fact caught on the Thai certification site NBTC. But the most important detail is its market name, which from what we read will be Realme 7 5G. It will therefore be the fourth smartphone in the Realme 7 series and will be the first with 5G connectivity.
However, remember that Realme already had a mid-range with 5G with the name of Realme V5 5G, but this has remained a Chinese exclusive until today.
This suggests that the Realme 7 5G might just be a rebrand of the V5 5G, but this time dedicated to the global market.
The specifications should therefore include a MediaTek Dimensity 720 as a processor, a 6,5-inch display with FullHD + resolution and a refresh rate of 90Hz.
For photography we will have a 16 MP selfie cam, while on the back we will find a 48 MP main, an 8 MP ultrawide and two 2 MP units (macro and depth).
Powering the smartphone will be a 5.000mAh battery with 30W charging support.
