In the previous days we learned that the Realme 8 series is expected to launch on March 24th. This should include two smartphones, the Realme 8 and Realme 8 Pro. Well, today, the standard version smartphone, the Realme 8, has received NBTC (National Broadcasting Telecommunications Commission) certification in Thailand.
Realme 8 certified in Thailand: launch ever closer
NBTC certification confirms that Realme smartphone with model number RMX3085 will debut as Realme 8 in Thailand. The device has received approval from other certification platforms such as BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards), EEC (Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) and Indonesia Telecom. Unfortunately, these certifications have not revealed anything about the main specifications of the device. Realme 8.
That said, the Realme RMX3085 was caught on Geekbench's benchmarking platform in February. The benchmark revealed to us that the smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G95, 8 GB of RAM and runs on the Android 11 operating system.
Other almost certain but not yet confirmed specs include a 6,4-inch AMOLED display and a 5.000mAh battery with 30W fast charging support. While for the photos we will have a four-camera configuration with a 64 megapixel main one. Finally, the smartphone will be available in versions with 4 GB of RAM + 128 GB of storage space and 8 GB of RAM + 128 GB of storage space.
