Realme, the well-known smartphone brand, recently announced the official launch of its new V50 series in China, introducing two new models: the Realme V50 and Realm V50s.
Realme V50 and V50s presented: entry-level in two 4G and 5G versions
Both models, the Realme V50 and the V50s, share the same hardware configuration with the only difference being that the V50 is a 4G version, while the V50s is a 5G version. This strategy allows Realme to target a broader consumer base by offering options for different networks and user preferences.
The design of the new Realme V50/V50s is modern and elegant, with a sharp-edged frame and a matte black or glossy light blue finish on the back. We then find a circular camera module, equipped with two lenses and a flash. The smartphones are available in Alba Viola and Nero Mezzanotte colours, the body is only 7.89mm thin and the weight is only 190 grams.
The series then comes with a 6.72 inch display with 1080*2400 pixel resolution, with a 6-level adaptive refresh rate and support up to 120Hz. The maximum brightness of 680nits and the minimum brightness of 3nits ensure optimal vision in any light condition.
Under the hood, the Realme V50/V50s are powered by the Dimensity 6100+ 5G processor, which uses 6nm process technology. The processor is composed of 2 Arm Cortex-A76 cores at 2.2GHz and 6 Arm Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0GHz, while the GPU is an Arm Mali-G57 MC2. Support for 5G SA/NSA communication and dual standby for 5G+5G SIMs ensures fast and reliable connectivity.
La battery 5000mAh ensures long life, with support for fast wired charging up to 18W. According to official statements, continuous talk time can reach 37.7 hours, an impressive figure that highlights the energy efficiency of the devices.
As for photography, we have a 13 megapixel module on the back and an 8 megapixel front camera.. Additionally, the Realme V50/V50s offers fingerprint unlock functionality on the power button and supports 2D face unlock.
Finally, for prices, the Realme V50 with 6GB+128GB is offered at 1199 yuan, around 155 euros. Realme V50s starts from 1499 yuan, around 195 euros, for the 6GB+128GB model.
