Redmi A3 officially presented: economical smartphone with Android 14 (not Go)

Redmi A3

The Redmi A3 comes with one 6,71 LCD screen with HD+ resolution, 90Hz refresh rate and a Gorilla Glass 3 cover.

On the back of the Redmi A3 we find a circular photographic module, reminiscent of that of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, with two cameras and an LED flash. The main camera has a resolution of 8 MP, while the secondary one has not been specified by Xiaomi, but it is assumed that it is a depth or macro sensor. The photography performance of the Redmi A3 will certainly not be exceptional, but it should be enough to take decent photos in adequate light conditions. There front camera has a resolution of 5MP.

The device is powered by Helio G36 chipset from MediaTek, the same as the previous model, the Redmi A2. However, the RAM has been increased and now you can choose between 3GB, 4GB or 6GB, depending on your needs. There internal memory is 64 GB or 128 GB, expandable via micro SD. These specifications allowed Xiaomi to install the full version of on the Redmi A3 Android 14, rather than the Go version of Android 13, which was present on his predecessors. This means that the Redmi A3 can offer a better user experience and greater application compatibility.

Redmi A3

La The Redmi A3's battery has a capacity of 5.000 mAh, which should guarantee excellent autonomy, also considering the low consumption of the processor and display. There Charging is supported up to 10W Through the USB-C port, which is also used for data transfer. The smartphone also features a audio jack from 3,5 mm, which will be appreciated by lovers of traditional headphones.

Redmi A3

The price varies depending on the configuration chosen: the basic version 3/64 GB costs INR7.299, equal to approx 82 € at the current exchange rate, the 4/128 GB version costs INR8.299, equal to approximately 93 euros, and the 6/128 GB version costs INR9.299, equal to approximately 104 euros.
