Xiaomi, the Chinese technology giant, has unveiled some of its new products that it will present at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024, the most important trade fair in the sector which will be held in Barcelona from 26 to 29 February. CEO Lei Jun shared a teaser image on Twitter showing five devices made from Lego bricks, accompanied by the phrase “Human x Car x Home“, indicating the product categories that will be part of its intelligent ecosystem.
Xiaomi tells us what it will reveal at MWC 2024: smartphones, smartwatches and cars, but not only that!
Among the devices on display there will be the new smartphone Xiaomi 14, the top of the range of the che series will debut on February 25th, one day before the start of the MWC. The device should have a sleek and slim design, one 6,36-inch AMOLED screen with 120 Hz refresh ratea Triple 50 megapixel rear camera a 4610 mAh battery with 90W fast charging. The processor will be the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, the most powerful from Qualcomm, supported by 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal memorya.
Another product that will attract attention will be the Xiaomi SU7, the first electric car produced by Xiaomi in collaboration with Great Wall Motors, one of the largest Chinese car manufacturers. The car, which was announced last December, has a futuristic and sporty design. The car is equipped with a level 4 autonomous driving system, which allows it to move safely and intelligently in different traffic situations, and with a series of sensors and cameras that monitor the status of the vehicle and the surrounding environment . The car has a power of 400 HP and a maximum speed of 250 km/h. The battery has a capacity of 100 kWh and guarantees a range of 600 km on a single charge.
As for the wearable sector, Xiaomi will present its new smartwatch, the Watch 2, which was teased by some images leaked online. The smartwatch will have a round and minimalist design, with a metal case and a silicone strap. The screen will be a 1,43-inch OLED with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels. The smartwatch will be able to measure heart rate, blood pressure, blood oxygenation, sleep and physical activity.
Finally, Xiaomi will showcase two smart home products: a tablet and a vacuum cleaner. The tablet could be one of the variants of the Xiaomi Pad 6, Xiaomi's most advanced Android tablet, which has one 11-inch LCD screen with refresh rate to 120 Hz, MediaTek Dimensity 1200 processor, 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory. The tablet also has four stereo speakers, a 13-megapixel rear camera and a battery from 8.600 mAh with 67W fast charging. The tablet could be available in Pro or Max versions, with superior features. The vacuum cleaner, however, could be the Xiaomi Vacuum Cleaner 3, the most recent model of the Xiaomi robot vacuum cleaner series, which has a 3.000 Pa suction powera battery from 5200 mAh, a laser mapping of the environment and a floor washing function.
