Redmi Book Pro 15 Enhanced Edition with Intel Core i5-12500H officially launched

In March last year, Chinese tech giant Xiaomi launched the Redmi Book Pro 15 2022, a laptop equipped with 5th generation Intel Core i12450-7H and i12650-12H processors and optional Nvidia RTX 2050 graphics cards with a starting price of 5299 yuan (720 euros). Well, today the brand has launched its upgrade, the Redmi Book Pro 15 Enhanced Edition with Intel Core i5-12500H, priced at 5999 yuan (820 euros).

As just mentioned, the new Redmi Book Pro 15 Enhanced Edition is equipped with the 5th generation Intel Core i12500-12H processor, a chip with a total of 12 cores and 16 threads. The number of cores has increased by 50% compared to the previous version and the cache has also been increased from 12MB to 18MB. While the integrated graphics see an upgrade with a total of 80 execution units for gaming performance that will undoubtedly be superior.

The processor is then supported by 16GB RAM of the LPDDR5 type with a frequency of 5200Hz and a 4.0GB PCIe 512 solid state drive.

The handset comes with a 3,2-inch 15K screen, 90Hz refresh rate, 16:10 aspect ratio, 100% sRGB, 400nit brightness, and delta E of less than 1,5. The panel supports intelligent photosensitization and DC attenuation, and has passed TÜV Rheinland hardware-level low blue light certification.

Otherwise, the Redmi Book Pro 15 Enhanced Edition adopts CNC technology, is about 14,9 mm thick, and weighs about 1,8 kg. Inside we find a 72 Wh battery for an autonomy of about 12,5 hours. The laptop comes with a full-sized backlit keyboard and integrates a Thunderbolt 4 port, USB-C/A, HDMI 2.0, and high-speed card reader.
