It sounds strange but it's true: the Redmi Buds 3 Pro are better than the Apple AirPods Pro. In what sense? Their latency is less than half!

According to reports from Chinese sources, the Redmi Buds 3 Pro which in China are called Redmi AirDots 3, have achieved a minimum latency of 69 ms. Maybe it will seem like a lot, but in reality this figure turns out to be less than half of that achieved by Apple AirPods Pro, which is the latest model. For the uninitiated, the bitten apple headphones have seen a marked improvement in sound latency going from 274 ms to 178 ms and then to 144 ms with one of the latest updates and thanks to Stephen Coyle's analytics expertise. The headphones the Redmi Buds 3 Pro however have reached 69 ms of latency.

According to the sources and according to what we also understand from the poster, this new record never achieved by the competition was only possible thanks to the smartphone Redmi Note 10 Pro (Chinese version). We know this device in Europe as POCO X3 GT. In reality, the smartphone has not yet come out but an Indian leaker has decided to unveil it in preview, blurting out what are his basic specifications. For completeness of information we recall some particularities of the Redmi Buds 3 Pro.

Although they support the ANC, i.e. active noise reduction, this feature is not usable by everyone. As reported on the site, in fact, only Xiaomi and Redmi smartphone owners with MIUI can use it. For Bluetooth, the Chinese company indicates that the headphones are compatible with it standard 5.2 of the wireless protocol and that allow a simultaneous connection to two sources, i.e. Bluetooth multipoint.

Finally, the headphones weigh 4.9 grams each and noise reduction reduces the sound volume by 35 dB. They also incorporate a 9 mm diameter transducer and the autonomy is 6 hours with deactivated noise reduction.
