It was September 2021 when Xiaomi's shoulder company launched the first laptop of the G series called, trivially, Redmi G 2021. In July of this year, the Redmi G 2022 it arrived a bit quietly, bringing some significant improvements, as well as two different configurations according to the needs. But now the company wants to be more daring and presents the Redmi G Pro with RTX enhanced graphics. Let's see all the features of this new laptop which, for now, is only available in China.

Xiaomi's largest sub-brand has introduced an updated version of Redmi G Pro with processor AMD. In addition to powerful hardware, the device integrates a capacious battery, a display with a high refresh rate and a wide range of interface connectors. The company announced the price of the laptop devoted to gaming, which proved to be very competitive by the standards of its segment. The laptop PC is equipped with a 16" with resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, HDR support and 240 Hz refresh rate. DC Dimming IPS panel with 100% sRGB coverage (10-bit color depth) and a maximum brightness of 500 nit.
The laptop hardware platform includes a processor AMD Ryzen 7 6800H, 16 GB of dual-channel DDR5-4800 RAM and a dedicated graphics card NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 (6 GB VRAM, 130W). The amount of SSD with PCIe 4.0 interface is 512 GB. The company claims that thanks to a system of cooling proprietario with four heat pipes and two fans, the temperature of the iron remains acceptable even under heavy load.
A USB Type-C port with support for Power Delivery technology (100W) completes the list of features of the Redmi G Pro, three USB 3.2 Gen 2 connectors, a USB 2.0 Type-A, Mini DP 1.4 and HDMI 2.0, as well as an Ethernet, SD memory card slot and audio jack from 3.5 mm. The weight of the laptop is 2.66kg, the battery capacity is 80Wh, the power supply is 330w.
The price of Redmi G Pro Ryzen Edition in China, where the laptop will go on sale on September 15th, is 7599 yuan, about € 1000 at current exchange rates. There is still no information on the availability of new items in other regions.
