Confirmations continue on the part of Xiaomi, or to be precise the sub-brand Redmi, awaiting the official presentation of Redmi coming up next Tuesday. After confirming the processor that we will find on the device, or the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G, now the Chinese brand has instead revealed two other rather interesting specifications: screen size and hole size of the cameras that we know are inside it.
Redmi K30 will have a display from ben 6,67 ″ and hole from 4,38mm
So let's start with the most important data, the Redmi K30 will adopt a screen with a well-6.67 inch diagonal, you read that right, we will have a huge screen, not at the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 levels that instead equipped an 6,9 inch, but still bigger of the already immense display of the Redmi Note 8 Pro to 6,53 ″.
Obviously the design is full screen without notch, even if in its place we will find a pill-shaped hole in the upper right corner. This hole "hides" the two cameras and according to the numbers communicated by Xiaomi it will be only 4,38 millimeters large. However, we do not know if these 4,38mm are referred to horizontally or if they only take into account the height. Unfortunately, according to us it is the second, so we expect a width of about 1 centimeter.
In any case, Xiaomi claims to have used a new sandblasting process to reduce the size of the hole to a minimum and a camera technology within the second generation screen; even if this is the first time we see it on a Redmi or Xiaomi smartphone.
Obviously the presence of the two cameras in a hole on the screen will not please everyone, but we can say that at least looking at the poster just released by Redmi, these seem to take a very small portion of the screen; most probably also thanks to the enormous screen size.
What do you think about the size of the display? It makes you miss it a little less Mi Max series canceled a few days ago? Let us know in the comments section below!
