In response to the announcement of the presentation date of the Huawei P40 series, set for March 26, the product director of Redmi, Wang Teng, recalled that the Redmi K30 Pro is also not far from the release.

How far away? Well according to Lu Weibing, the vice president of Xiaomi Group and general manager of Redmi, the K30 Pro will be presented after the Huawei P40 Pro. Usually, Xiaomi (and therefore Redmi) set the presentation events on Tuesday, this means that if the usual habits, the next flagship killer will be presented on March 31st.
As we well know, the K30 Pro will have almost nothing to envy to the Xiaomi Mi 10 cousins. This means that we will find real top-of-the-range hardware such as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor with support for 5G networks, coupled with LPDDR5 type RAM and UFS 3.0 internal memory with Turbo Write functionality. So a trio of high-performance and at the same time more energy-efficient technologies.
As for the photographic sector, the K30 Pro will almost certainly adopt the Sony IMX686 64MP sensor, or the same that we find on board the Redmi K30 presented in November. While the other two sensors will be supported by ultra wide angle lenses and telephoto with 5x optical zoom for at least one of the versions.
According to the latest rumors arriving from China, the Redmi K30 Pro it should also come in two variants. We will have a standard version and a "High", the latter could be called "Premium Edition", as happened with the Redmi K20 Pro Premium Edition.
Finally, we want to remember that the smartphone could arrive later in Italy with a different name, also here following in the footsteps of K20 and K20 Pro then called Xiaomi Mi 9T and Mi 9T Pro.
