While in India the Redmi K30 4G is getting closer in the forms of Poco F2in China, however, something much more interesting seems to emerge. We refer to the Redmi K30 Pro, or the flagship killer that missed the appeal last month when the basic version (Redmi K30) was presented instead.
Redmi K30 Pro appears on GeekBench, Snapdragon 865 confirmed
As we can see in the screenshot above in fact, a device with the name "Xiaomi Redmi K30 Pro" would have just been tested on the GeekBench benchmark platform; specifically in version 5.1.0. From the image, in addition to the name of the smartphone we can understand the CPU on board thanks to the score obtained, 903 in single core mode and 3362 in multi-core mode, it is therefore a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865; currently the most powerful smartphone processor on the market. The chip will then be supported by a Snapdragon X55 modem that adds dual mode 5G connectivity, with support for SA and NSA networks.
Unfortunately, from the benchmark, we are unable to extrapolate much more than the amount of RAM, in this case 8GB, therefore always average.
As for the other specs, Chinese media suggest that the camera may pop up again, although in reality it is very likely that the hole on the K30 series screen will be reused. In fact, as you well know, between the K20 and K20 Pro series there was no difference in terms of design, but only in terms of chipset.
We should then find a large screen (the K30 adopts a 6,67-inch display) but this time of the AMOLED type to satisfy a greater number of users. And yes, it is possible to have both an AMOLED screen and a hole on the screen. In addition, the panel could also support a 120Hz refresh rate, which would make it a true flagship killer.
Finally, we don't know when Redmi will go to release the K30 Pro, but given that we will see the Mi 10 in February, the sub-brand could postpone the launch in March.
PS: We remember that it is still a leak, so the whole thing is to be taken with pliers.
