Xiaomi's sub-brand, Redmi, has just officially launched a new version of the Redmi K30i initially presented on May 25th. The new model is characterized by the presence of a greater quantity of RAM and internal memory.
Redmi K30i released with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal memory
Let's start by specifying just that, the Redmi K30i released today will be equipped with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal memory. The selling price in China will be 1999 Yuan, or about 250 euros at the current exchange rate. Redmi also presented another slightly less appealing version, with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of memory, this version will instead be sold at 1799 Yuan, around 225 euros.
As for the other specifications, these remain unchanged from the original version. This means that we find a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G as a processor, while on the photography side there is a main camera with a 48MP Sony sensor (therefore a step backwards compared to that of the Rdmi K30 5G which is instead a 64MP Sony sensor). It is also equipped with an 120MP 8 degree wide angle lens, a super macro lens for photos from a minimum distance of 2cm by 5MP and a depth sensor for taking photos with the 2MP bokeh effect.
The Redmi K30i then uses a 6,67-inch diagonal screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz. Inside the display we also find the two cameras in a pillar hole in the upper left, these have a resolution of 20MP for the main and 2MP for the depth sensor.
Finally, the smartphone is powered by a battery with a capacity of 4500 mAh and support for fast flash charging with a power of 30 W. There is support for multifunction NFC functionality, support for 5G SA / NSA Dual Mode networks, WiFi dual band, Bluetooth to version 5.1, dual frequency GPS and even a 3.5mm audio jack.
