According to the latest from China, the first model of the Redmi K50 universe will be officially launched in the coming weeks. It will be Redmi's first smartphone with Snapdragon 8 Gen1 and most likely it will be a special version of the K50 that focuses on gaming.
Redmi K50 Pro: new leak reveals the rear design
In addition to this e-sport version, it has previously been reported that the three models of the Redmi K50 series will soon debut, namely the Redmi K50, Redmi K50 Pro and Redmi K50 Pro +.
Well, today some renders have leaked of what should be the protective case for the Redmi K50 Pro. The renders show us that the smartphone will use a new camera module design with a total of three sensors. This design is slightly similar to that of the Xiaomi Civi that was only launched in China last year. In addition, there will apparently be a 108MP main sensor.
Also from the renderings we can also note that in the power button part of this case there is a large opening very different from that of the volume buttons. It would therefore seem that the Redmi K50 Pro will adopt a lateral fingerprint sensor, the cheapest solution of the moment.
As for the internal specifications, according to previous rumors, the Redmi K50, Redmi K50 Pro and Redmi K50 Pro + will be equipped with Snapdragon 870, Dimensity 8000 and Dimensity 9000 chips respectively.
We point out that the Redmi K50 Pro will be equipped with the new Dimensity 8000 chip, with its performance that may exceed that of the Snapdragon 888, but the price will be significantly lower, so the price / performance ratio should be really great.
Finally, the whole Redmi K50 series should use OLED-type displays with a hole at the top for the front camera and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. We should also find the 120W fast charging support in the most premium smartphone of the series.
