Xiaomi is preparing the launch of two new high-end smartphones: Xiaomi 14Ultra e Redmi K70 Ultra. The latter will be the most premium and advanced model of the K70 series, which has already achieved great success in China with the previous ones K70E, K70 and K70 Pro.

The launch of the Redmi K70 Ultra is scheduled for the first half of 2024, but it could arrive even earlier than expected. In fact, second Digital Chat Station, the new smartphone will be anticipated compared to the Redmi K60 Extreme Edition, which was presented in August last year during the annual speech of Lei Jun, the founder and CEO of Xiaomi.
According to the leaker, Xiaomi's new smartphone will be equipped with a processor MediaTek Dimensity 9300, one of the most powerful and high-performance on the market, which guarantees a 40% improvement in performance and a 33% reduction in energy consumption compared to the previous generation.
The Dimensity 9300 processor has an eight-core structure, without small cores, with a maximum frequency of 3,25 GHz for the super-large core and 2,0 GHz for the large cores. This is a different choice than Redmi K70 Pro, which features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, but that should not compromise the capabilities of the device.
The Redmi K70 Extreme Edition will also have one 8 inch 6,67T OLED screen, with a resolution of 1,5K and a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
As for memory, the Redmi K70 Extreme Edition will be equipped with up to 24GB LPDDR5T RAM and 1TB UFS 4.0 storage, which offer high speed and fluidity. There battery will have a capacity of 5000 mAh and will support the 150W fast charging, higher than the 120 W one of the Redmi K70 Pro.
The photographic sector of the K70 Ultra will consist of a triple rear camera, with a 50 megapixel main sensor, a 108 megapixel telephoto lens and a 12 megapixel ultra-wide angle. The front camera will be 16 megapixels, for high-quality selfies.
The Redmi K70 Ultra will also be equipped with independent chips and a waterproof certification, which will increase its safety and durability. The operating system will be HyperOS based on Android 14.
The price of the Redmi K70 Ultra has not yet been revealed, but it can be assumed that it will position itself around the euro 500, maintaining a very competitive quality-price ratio. The K70 Ultra could be launched as Xiaomi 14T Pro in global markets, although there is no confirmation on this for now.
