Photos taken during what appears to be a camera test show the phone hidden in a case. This hides the overall design, but there is a noticeable camera bump with a periscope lens in the bottom right corner.

From what we see the phone has been compared to the Xiaomi 14 Pro and the Vivo X100 Pro in these images and also appears to share the chassis with what appears to be the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. Besides the visible features, the most interesting details come from a white label on the back of the phone.

On the case of the device we see a label with the initials "N1", "P2" and "EU". According to Xiaomiui, "N1" corresponds to the model number expected for the flagship with the Leica brand, further strengthening the possibility that it is indeed the 14 Ultra. “P2” suggests that it is a prototype, a version that is not yet definitive, while “EU” suggests a possible global version intended for European markets.

According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will have a 50MP main sensor (Sony LYT 900 with OIS) with a variable opening. Next to the main sensor, one 50MP telephoto lens, another 50MP periscope lens and 50MP ultra-wide angle lens they should complete the package.

The leaked information also suggests a possible titanium frame upgrade for the 14 Ultra, just like the version Xiaomi 14 Pro Titanium Special Edition. There are also rumors of two-way satellite communication and the phone may have one 5180mAh battery with support for 90W wired and 50W wireless charging.

It is a smartphone that promises to offer performance and photographic quality of the highest level, but we will have to wait a few more months to find out if it will also be available outside of China. In fact, the device should debut together with the Xiaomi Pad 7 series in April 2024.
