The Xiaomi 14 Pro Titanium Special Edition has a 99% titanium central frame, a light and robust metal, which gives it a distinctive look and greater durability. The titanium is also coated with an anti-fingerprint coating, to keep your phone looking clean and shiny. The back and front of the phone are covered by a Xiaomi Dragon Crystal glass, a special glass that offers high transparency and anti-scratch protection. The rear glass also has a starry sky effect, which creates a play of lights and colors depending on the angle. The final detail is the orange halo surrounding the rear camera, which recalls the Xiaomi logo.
The technical characteristics of the Xiaomi 14 Pro Titanium Special Edition are the same as the original version, which is already considered one of the best smartphones on the market. The phone has one AMOLED screen from 6,73 inches with 120 Hz refresh rate, supports 120W fast charging and 50W wireless charging, and is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen3 processor with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB internal storage. The rear camera has a triple-lens setup, with a main sensor from 50 megapixel, telephoto lens from 50 megapixel with 3x optical zoom and a lens 16 megapixel ultra-wide angle. The front camera instead has a resolution of 20 megapixels and is located in a hole in the screen.
The 14 Pro Titanium Special Edition has been released in China at the price of 6.499 yuan, approximately 830 euros at the current exchange rate. This is a high price compared to the original version, which costs 4.999 yuan, but justified by the quality of the materials and the exclusivity of the product. The phone is currently in pre-order status on Xiaomi's official website and some e-commerce platforms, but supplies are limited due to titanium's low rate of return. However, Xiaomi's user operations manager assured that the phone will not be sold in limited quantities and will be produced when production capacity increases in the following period.
