This afternoon Xiaomi launched the new Redmi Note 11E 5G in China. The smartphone comes with a price of 1199 yuan, or about 170 euros at the current exchange rate.
Redmi Note 11E 5G announced in China: new design and MediaTek Dimensity 700
Compared to the Note 11, the overall shape of the smartphone has undergone major changes. The front has been modified with a teardrop notch screen design, we have the fingerprint recognition sensor on the side and a rectangular camera layout on the back, with two cameras and a flash strip.
In terms of screen, the Note 11E uses a 6,58-inch screen with a resolution of 2408 × 1080, supports a 90Hz refresh rate, and has a 240Hz touch sample rate.
As for performance, however, the new mid-range is equipped with MediaTek's Dimensity 700 processor. The Dimensity 700 uses a 7nm manufacturing process, octa-core CPU architecture, including two large 76GHz A2,2 cores, six 55GHz A2,0s, and a Mali-G57 GPU. The CPU is coupled with LPDDR4X type memory and UFS 2.2 type internal memory.
Moving on to the photographic sector, the Redmi Note 11E 5G arrives with a total of two rear cameras, including a 50 megapixel main camera, along with a 2MP depth of field sensor. While in the front we find a 5 megapixel selfie camera.
Redmi's new smartphone then comes with a 5000mAh battery, supports 18W wired fast charging, and comes standard with a 22,5W charger.
The Note 11E 5G will be available in three colors: Mysterious Black Realm, Ice Crystal Galaxy and Mint. Among the other features we also find the infrared sensor, 3,5 mm headphone jack and USB Type-C charging port.
