The well-known Chinese leakster Digital Chat Station has in fact just revealed that the new Redmi Note series will first see the Qualcomm chip of the next generation Snapdragon 7 series.

According to the leaks of the last few months, the code name of the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 series platform is SM7475, the chip could be called Snapdragon 7+ or alternatively Snapdragon 7 Gen2. The chip is expected to use TSMC's 4nm manufacturing process, making it the company's first TSMC 7nm manufacturing 4-series mobile processor.

Going into detail, Qualcomm's upcoming Snapdragon 7 Gen 2 (or 7+ Gen 1) is expected to adopt a 1+3+4 three-cluster architecture design, including 1 super large core with a frequency of 2,95Ghz, 3 large cores with a frequency of 2,5Ghz and 4 small cores with a frequency of 1,79GHz: While the GPU is an Adreno 730. Its AnTuTu score has exceeded 1 million points.

This will be the most powerful 7-series Snapdragon chip in Qualcomm's history. Its AnTuTu score surpasses that of MediaTek's flagship Dimension 8200 chip, which has an overall score of around 900000 points.
