Last month in China the Redmi Note 9 series was released with the slogan "The Three Musketeers". In fact, together with the more premium and interesting Redmi Note 9 Pro and Redmi Note 9 (both support 5G), the Redmi Note 9 4G was also presented. A smartphone with a particular focus on autonomy thanks to the integrated 6000 mAh battery, much larger than other devices in the same category.
Redmi Note 9 4G China released in new memory variant
The Redmi Note 9 4G had been released for the first time in three memory versions: 4 + 128 GB, 6 + 128 GB, 8 + 128 GB, with prices starting from 999 yuan, around 115 euros.
Well, today the brand presented a fourth one for the winter solstice. The new variant comes with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal memory. A truly incredible setup for the range it should be part of. While the price will be 1499 yuan, around 190 euros.
Unfortunately, however, all the other low / mid-range specifications remain identical. In fact, we find a 6,53-inch LCD screen with a drop notch and a resolution of 2340 × 1080. The display supports continuous adjustment of the color temperature, a very low minimum brightness of only 1 nit for better use in the dark, anti-glare screen and eye protection mode 2.0. In fact, the panel has achieved TUV Rheinland blue low light certification.
The smartphone is also equipped with a Snapdragon 662 processor, LPDDR4X RAM memory, UFS 2.2 internal memory. There are three rear cameras with the main camera being a 1 megapixel Samsung GM48st, a 1 micron large pixel 2/1,6 inch sensor, paired with an 120 megapixel 8 degree ultra wide angle lens, and a depth from 2MP. For selfies we find an 8MP camera.
Finally, the smartphone adopts a Hi-Res certified dual stereo speaker system, dual-band Wi-Fi, infrared remote control, Type-C interface, 3,5mm headphone jack. Obviously, the 6000mAh battery mentioned above is not missing.
