After confirming its arrival for mid-March yesterday, also anticipating some of the specifications, the famous Chinese blogger Digital Chat Station has just revealed more details about the next flagship smartphone of the Note 9 series, which could come under the name of “Redmi Note 9 5G”.
Redmi Note 9 5G will have a 120Hz refresh rate screen
Specifically, Digital Chat Station would have released a photo of a display suggesting that it is a panel for the Note 9 5G. But the most interesting fact is that this screen would have a refresh rate of 120Hz, therefore a decisive step forward compared to the other smartphones of the Note series, if not for the entire range of Redmi products.
In addition to the 120Hz refresh rate we should also find a touch sampling rate of 240Hz, so as to improve performance especially within video games.
Another very interesting detail is the hole in the upper part of the display. Interesting as it is a really small hole, very similar to what we find on smartphones, so the Note 9 5G will also be valid from the point of view of aesthetics.

As for the other specifications, as previously mentioned the leakster Digital Chat Station had revealed that the smartphone will be equipped with a 108MP sensor, the Samsung ISOCELL HM2. A high-end sensor with an area of 1 / 1,52 inch, 0,7 μm pixels with support for 9 pixels in one technology, which then can increase the pixel size up to 2,1 μm. This results in better image quality in low light conditions by absorbing more outside light.
The Redmi Note 9 5G should then be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G as a processor with support for 33W fast charging, while the younger brothers (Note 9 and Note 9 Pro) could instead equip a MediaTek Dimensity 720.
Finally, for prices, the Chinese Redmi Note 9 series should start from 1000 yuan, about 125 euros at the current exchange rate.
