A few days ago Redmi presented the new K30S Extreme Commemorative Edition, or the Chinese version of the Xiaomi Mi 10T released in Italy the previous month. The smartphone arrives with an excellent price-quality ratio and has already had a huge success at the first sale. But the Xiaomi sub-brand has not yet gone on vacation for this year according to a well-known leakster known as Digital Chat Station.
Redmi Note 9 China series: Leakster confirms arrival for this month with 108MP sensor
Indeed, he would have revealed on Weibo (the Chinese Twitter) that Redmi is finally ready to launch the Note 9 series in the Asian country. Clearly, given the delay compared to the Note 9 series presented globally, the Chinese one will arrive with decidedly different hardware.
The first component to see a substantial change will be the image sensor. According to Digital Chat Station, the Chinese Note 9 is in fact equipped with a 2MP Samsung ISOCELL HM108 sensor instead of the 1MP Samsung ISOCELL GM64 sensor that we find on board the Redmi Note 9 Pro.
The leakster also adds that the smartphone could even be reviewed by DxOMark, a site that has now become an authority in the field of testing cameras on our smartphones. So the Redmi Note 9 5G (if so called) will focus more than ever on the photographic sector.
This version with 108MP sensor will most likely also be the one that will adopt a Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G as a processor, making it much more similar to the Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite released in the Global version, than a Note series device.
On offer on Amazon
In addition to the Redmi Note 9 5G which will become the flagship smartphone of its series, Digital Chat Station suggests that two other smartphones will be presented. These could be called Redmi Note 9 and Redmi Note 9 Pro and be more similar in hardware to our Note 9 and Note 9 Pro even if according to several leaks to feed them we could find the excellent MediaTek Dimensity 720 as SoC.
