After several weeks of rumors regarding the next Redmi Note 9 series dedicated to the Chinese market, today one of the most important details is finally revealed: the launch date.
Redmi Note 9 China series could arrive on November 24th
According to a famous Chinese leakster (such Technology Propaganda), the new Note 9 China line will be presented next Tuesday, or November 24th. The leakster hasn't shown any evidence but he still seems quite certain and given his fame we tend to believe him.
As we have learned in the previous weeks, the Redmi Note 9 series for China will be completely different from the one we saw launched in Italy a few months ago. In fact, at least one of the devices will be much more similar to our Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite, than a smartphone from the Redmi brand. This confirms once again the trend of the Chinese brand in launching more premium devices in the domestic market, while in the global one it focuses more on bringing the best quality / price ratio, even if at the expense of features.
What feature are we talking about? Well, let's start with the camera, which on the Redmi Note 9 Pro should reach 108MP. In particular we will find the excellent Samsung ISOCELL Bright HM2 sensor, 1 / 1,52 inches large, with 2,1 μm pixels and support for 3x zoom without loss of details. In comparison, even the Mi 10T Lite which theoretically is higher-end adopts a 64MP sensor instead.
As for the other specifications, these should be similar, if not identical, to those of the Xiaomi smartphone just mentioned. We are therefore talking about a Snapdragon 750G as a SoC, at least 6GB of RAM, 128GB of internal memory, a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, 4820mAh battery with 33W charging, NFC and much more.
Moving on to the Redmi Note 9 5G, this should instead adopt a MediaTek Dimensity 800U as a processor, three rear cameras with 48 MP main and a 5000mAh battery.
