As we learned yesterday, the new series Redmi 10X will be officially presented in China on May 26. But apparently this will not be the only one to see the light of the sun, but we can also expect a new series of laptops branded Redmi, these will include the RedmiBook 13 Ryzen, RedmiBook 14S Ryzen and RedmiBook 16 Ryzen Edition.
New RedmiBook series arriving on May 26, with Ryzen CPU and 13 ″ to 16 ″ display
As the names suggest, these are three laptops powered by processors developed by the giant AMD. In particular we should find a Ryzen 5 4500U with 6 cores and 6 threads, frequency of 2.3-4.0GHz, secondary cache of 3MB, tertiary cache of 8MB and an integrated Vega 6 GPU card, 384 stream processors, frequency of 1500MHz and energy consumption of 15W.
While the most powerful variant could equip a Ryzen 7 4700U. A CPU with 8 cores and 8 threads, clocked at 2,0-4,1 GHz, 2 MB level 4 cache, 3 MB level 8 cache, and an integrated Vega 7 GPU, with 448 stream processors, frequency of 1600MHz and 15W power consumption.
The two chipsets would then be accompanied by 16GB of DDR4-2666 RAM and a 881 GB Samsung PM512 SATA SSD, but there will be other variants of RAM and internal memory.
In any case, the laptops have already been cataloged on the famous Chinese Jingdong store. However, we still have no pricing information, but only confirmation that the new series will be presented on May 26th.
Finally, the president of Xiaomi Group China and general manager of the Redmi brand, Lu Weibing, communicated online that these laptops will bring very high performance. Obviously, this does not surprise us as AMD's Ryzen processors are notoriously more than excellent in terms of performance. Unfortunately, however, we do not expect any model that could be of interest to those who would like to use it as a gaming PC given the lack of a dedicated video card more aimed at gamers.
