Samebike 20LVXD30-II is the best eBike in the industry
In these days the climate has given us some respite and I tried the new Samebike 20LVXD30-II, an updated version of the eBike which has had some success. It's a bike that lacks nothing and I used it even more than was necessary for the review and I'm telling you about it.

Design
The Samebike 20LVXD30-II has a frame of aluminum alloy well made, with excellent welds and able to support a passenger up to 150kg. Measures 160x46x119cm but can be closed completely going to save almost half of the space (90x36x70). This solution allows us to transport the bike by car or camper and enjoy the vehicle in many more situations.
Not just the saddle, but the handlebar is also adjustable in height and it is very rare to find this feature in this type of bike. The bicycle is easily adapted to people with a height between 160cm and 195cm.
It is present in the back a comfortable and sturdy luggage rack that we can use for our needs or to carry a passenger. There are some custom made bags or you can use rubber bands to fix our luggage.
The Samebike 20LVXD30-II uses 20" x 1,95" tires with alloy wheels. An intermediate size that offers a good level of comfort and safety without taking up too much space. The front wheel is equipped with quick release to be easily disassembled during transport.
La 48V 10.4mAh battery is hidden inside the frame, resulting in an aesthetic gain, but it is also removable. This allows us to keep the battery safe when we park it on the street or we can simply recharge it comfortably at home. The battery is equipped with a safety lock to block its extraction.
Il comfort of this bike is huge thanks to the suspension fork, which is very rare on this type of bike and al cushioned saddle. Together they offer a driving pleasure incomparable with those bikes that do not have them. The difference between having them and not is like night and day.
The main controls are collected on the handlebar, including the excellent one LCD display which shows all the vehicle data, both total and in real time. The panel also incorporates three control buttons that are well placed within thumb's reach.
On the handlebar there is a smartphone holder with USB port able to charge your phone on the go.
Performances
La Samebike 20LVXD30-II is pushed by a 350W brushless motor and 48V battery which generate a decent engine torque, impressive in proportion to the type of bicycle. Usually these models are "stripped to the bone" and a motor/battery combination of this kind is only present for electric mountain bikes.
The house estimates the possibility of facing go up to 25% but with a little push I tackled the steep climb to my house the 32% without great difficulty. As you can imagine, on the plains it is a decent "beast" and you will often find yourself having to decrease the electric assistance to be able to give a few pedal strokes.
The bicycle comes limited to 25 km/h but it is possible unlock it in seconds (watch the video) to fully exploit its power and reach i 35 km/h on flat ground.
There are 5 levels of assistance selectable on the display which correspond to 5 limits beyond which assistance stops. There is also a accelerator on the right knob which allows us to use the bike in "electric only" mode without the need to pedal.
Il Shimano exchange to 7 reports it lives up to the power available and is generally of good quality. Seven gears are more than enough to handle steep climbs but also tackle sprints.
THEautonomy declared it is 40km in mode full electric and 80km with assisted pedalling. These are certainly optimistic values and measured with minimal assistance on flat roads. In mine tests carried out in opposite conditions, with steep climbs and assistance always at the maximum, the result was about 50km which is still a considerable value and which I rarely reach in reviews.
Safety
As we have seen the Samebike 20LVXD30-II it is equipped with front suspensions which not only offer us great comfort, but are also important for safety. In fact, a wheel that follows the ground guarantees greater grip in a curve and also when braking.
Speaking of braking, this eBike is equipped with mechanical disc brakes both on the front and on the rear wheel. Use gods 16cm discs which on such a bike are also oversized and generate incisive and precise braking in every situation. In all conditions and speeds, there is a feeling of safety and stability.
To complete the safety equipment we find a high quality lighting system. On the front wheel we find a powerful adjustable LED light amplified by a hemispherical lens, which offers a good range of illumination without weighing on battery life. At the rear there is also a double red LED light: a large position light and an additional one that activates during braking.
There is no shortage of passive reflective indicators on the rims and pedals which increase visibility in the evening.

La Samebike 20LVXD30-II It's a fantastic bike that lacks for nothing. It has a complete and quality equipment from all points of view.
It's an ideal eBike for the city because it doesn't take up much space but can be folded up and taken on holiday to also enjoy a few outings. The fork and the cushioned saddle make it suitable for extra-urban routes.
Powerful and with great autonomy, they make it the best electric bicycle in this area.
The price of €789 is more than justified by the equipment and comparing other models, perhaps it is not worth giving up to save €100.
