The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is one of those devices that is making a lot of talk about itself in recent times, especially if we consider that we are close to its presentation which presumably should take place by the end of this month. The Mi Note / Note Pro was presented in January last year, while this second generation is making itself desired a lot, especially for the "few" information regarding its possible variants. However, the situation is about to reverse, as we have finally come into possession of some information on the latter.
In fact, thanks to a Chinese source, we learned that there will be three variants of the Mi Note 2 of which the "base" version will have a 5,7 "inch display with full-HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels), 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal memory; the same can be said for the display of the “high” version (change the resolution which here is QHD), while there will be 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage; on the contrary, the "top" (or "premium") version will have a dual-edge Galaxy S7 Edge / Note 7 side display with QHD resolution (2560 x 1440 pixels) pressure sensitive and there will also be 6 GB of RAM memory but 128 GB of internal memory. Furthermore, all three versions of the Mi Note 2 will have a fingerprint recognition sensor (unfortunately, no ultrasonic sensor), a 4000 mAh battery, the micro-USB Type-C input and the current top-chip. from Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 821. However, the source remains very vague about the characteristics of the camera, saying that probably the basic version will have a 16 MP sensor, while the other two could have a double 12 MP photo sensor. Finally, the possible sale prices of all the versions are also reported which should be respectively 2499 Yuan (about 336 €) for the base, 2999 Yuan (about 403 €) for the high and 3499 Yuan (about 470 €) for the the top / premium.
As mentioned earlier, the date of submission has not yet been officially revealed, and although some industry analysts have stated that it should be placed by the end of this month, we think it is more likely that it coincides with one of the days of the IFA in Berlin, so for the beginning of next month.
