The devices of the Xiaomi Redmi family are perhaps the most popular among those who do not want to spend a lot but at the same time ask for good (if not excellent) performance, which translates into a worthy hardware base. Among them, this year the compact device that has gained a significant place is surely it Xiaomi Redmire 3 that with its already excellent technical characteristics, the design with rhomboid texture and metal body and a very competitive price, has registered surprising numbers for the company. However, poco after its presentation, Xiaomi wanted to propose its "enhanced" variant that has lost the characteristic geometric texture on the back but has gained a good sensor for fingerprint recognition (always on the back) and a quantity of memories (both RAM than storage) slightly higher (3/32 GB respectively).
Not yet satisfied with this device, last month Xiaomi presented two other variants but which are essentially a mixture between the "base" Redmi 3 and the Redmi 3 Pro, taking a little from one and a little from the other. The first to be presented was lo Xiaomi Redmi 3S, while immediately after it was the turn of the Xiaomi Redmi 3X which turns out to be (almost) the same device but addressed to a specific Chinese network operator (therefore unusable with other operators). However, both differed from the first two variants for a single component, ie the processor used, which in this case is no longer a Snapdragon 616 but one Snapdragon 430, more recent but slightly less performing (lower clock speeds).
Now, it seems to be again in the same situation seen previously, as the company will probably soon launch two other variants on the market, always belonging to the Redmi family. In fact, the certifications of these two new Xiaomi devices dating back to June 29 and both having an input for charging 5V / 2A have appeared on the Chinese site National Quality Certification Center.
For now, there is still no certain information on the real identity of these devices, nor on the design and technical characteristics of which they will be characterized. However, there is the hidden possibility that the latter are variants of Redmi 3 and Redmi 3 Pro with "greater LTE coverage" (including the 800 MHz band), as happened for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro | Xiaomi Redmi 3 Notes "Special Edition" officially presented |. Even if the company associates this terminology only with better 4G coverage in some markets where it officially operates, the possibility that these are "technical tests" in order to test the actual compatibility with other markets not yet supported by the company cannot be excluded. company and, therefore, officially bring its products outside the Asian borders. To find out, we just have to wait and, if anything, test these devices!
