Just a few days ago we saw the Segways E110A, a new electric scooter of small size, ultralight and with really interesting features. On the occasion of the presentation, however, the Chinese company Xiaomi's shoulder has also presented of the new scooters. One of these is the Segways GT2. As the name suggests, it is a "racing" scooter but watch out for the highway code and potholes! Let's go and see this racing car that is positioned in the high end and very high end of electric scooters on the market.
Segway also presented the GT2 in addition to the E110A electric scooter: it is a scooter with very high autonomy and speed
The new Segway GT2 electric scooter can reach a maximum of 70 km/h, where the limit on Italian roads is 20 km / h. Furthermore, according to Ninebot laboratory estimates, the electric scooter reaches 48 km / h in just 4 seconds. The electric vehicle is equipped with 11 "wheels (with tubeless tires with gelatin layer) and a double engine which guarantees efficiency, speed but also autonomy. In fact, according to what was revealed at the presentation, the Segway GT2 electric scooter comes in well 90 km of autonomy. As far as road safety is concerned, this new Segway also boasts a traction control, the Segway Dynamic Traction Control (STDC), which results in more grip when cornering and in difficult driving conditions.

To ensure safety the scooter (because we are talking about this considering the potential) has front and rear LED lights: one LED front light from 9W, bright but not dazzling, and a DRL (daytime) light. In addition to the lights, the Segway GT2 is equipped with certified reflectors on the front, back and sides, which will allow others to easily locate us if we go too fast.
We remind you that for many European countries this electric scooter is "out of norm". Indeed, all the evidence and videos shown by the company during the presentation are under special conditions such as track races. Segway GT2 will be available in the middle of this year, but no indication of the price has been given.
